I'm not against faux fur, doesn't mean I'd wear it though.

No, because fur is beautiful, and as a texture will always exist in fashion, but animals shouldn't be harmed for it.
Plus a lot of faux fur is obviously fake, being unnatural colors or textures, etc.

I wouldn't buy it but I have no problem with people who do. It is a million times preferable to real furr

I don't care if people wear it, but I don't see why anyone would - it's completely useless at keeping you warm, and it usually looks tacky.
I spose it's an individual thing...

As long as no animals were harmed in the process I am totally fine with faux fur, but of course I would never wear it unless it is needed at the moment.

Aside from faux fur (and animal print) being extremely tacky..

Lots of times, 'faux fur' is actually real animal fur, but just a not-so-soght-after animal. Hint- it isn't only Cruella who wears dog collared coats. ( Creepy, right? Anyway, it's true. And the labels don't even tell you it's a real animal.)
Warmness = WEAR FELT! Not fake plastic felt, or shrunken sweaters, I mean real actual felt. It's warm, but breathable, lightweight, and beautiful.

sought*
Also- I'm not anti-all-animal furs / hides / products.. just most of them. Native cultural practices are none of my business, of course.. and I love vintage costumes and things, but some fashion designer deciding to put a baby animal around someone else's neck is just kinds gross. I've always thought so. Even as a kid it just seemed weird, to me.

Gah, I love real fur. It smells amazing, and is very soft and cudly.
High quality false is nice, but not as, but medium-and-low qualities are gross. Itchy, smelly, and highly reminiscent of ugly carpets.

Fur is so ugly, I don't know why anyone would ever wear faux.

Yeah. Today, my French teacher (a very dedicated vegan) was wearing a faux fur/faux animal hide coat. I just don't get it.
Also, what's the deal with tofu that's flavored to imitate meat?

mysocks- I've thought about that, too. I think 'fake meats' are made for people learning to be vegetarian. They might not know yet how to eat without meat. You know?
Also, lots of people eat meat for the convenience of it, in our society. As far as fast-food, frozen food, and instant meals go, it's all some meat thing wrapped in a grain thing with maybe some veggies in between. It's a cultural norm that companies like Morning Star Farms and others have tried to bridge with alternative but familiar proteins, I guess.

I don't wear fur outside of my faux-fur lined boots. But they're so warm and cute.

i think fake fur is ok. its made out of synthetic materials, so an animal didnt have to die to make it
