Well not if she gets fingered, or something?

I still find the concept of virginity funny.
I don't get why people make such a big deal of sex.
Anyways, people obviously view virginity subjectively, and thus it is subjective.
Again, I find the whole virginity concept absurd.
(Not too fond of lesbians either.

I thought this was already a question..
Anyhow, the concept that a "woman that hasn't had a dick up her is a virgin" is just ridiculous.. Just the way that girls take it in the ass to 'keep their virginity' so they can wear a white wedding dress. Oh, goodness..
One day you people will be enlightened! Or am I too hopeful?

Medically spoken, she is a virgin. But morally, having oral, anal or vaginal sex means you're sexually active, and therefor not a virgin

It really depends on what one views as sex.
In my view, no, she is no longer a virgin.

It seems like the generally accepted definition of losing virginity is breaking the hymen, or just generally penetration.
I'll just say, as a lesbian, I've never scissored... and using the definition of losing virginity I gave above, I'm NOT a virgin.

It really all depends on how you look at it
Technically speaking if the hymen breaks, you arent a virgin. But it really all depends on how you look at it. People habe different views on what causes someone to lose their virginity

If the hymen must be broke to lose one's virginity, does that mean she would lose it through fingering herself?
And if the finger doesn't do it, what about if she was with a guy whose penis was only as big as her finger and it did nothing more than what the finger did.
Would she still be a virgin?
Using the hymen as an indicator is flawed in many ways, especially since the level of physical activity for women has greatly risen since the "olden" days and many have stretched and damaged it before sex.

Technically, she's still a virgin. Emotionally, and to herself, she's not.

I second this by stating that virginity is medically defined as the hymen still being intact, therefore anal sex, oral sex, and various other methods that leave it still intact (including receiving vaginal sex from a guy who is really poorly endowed, enough that it cannot even reach the hymen, would still make her appear to be a virgin.) Thus, my fellow men, even if she may claim to be a virgin, and you could see for yourself, it does not mean that she has never seen 'mr. happy'.

^The hymen can often be broke simply from riding a bike, horseback riding, and gymnastics.
Just saying.

I don't know. I hate the concept of virginity...morally I'd like to think that as soon as a girl has a sexual experience involving genitals she's no longer a virgin (she'd have lost her "innocence") but of course that is not everyone's view. Medically, she'd still be a virgin in this case...but she'd still be possibly at risk for STD's and stuff.

Maybe "virginity" is a concept that sits between your ears: It has nothing to do with the first penetration, it's what you feel like. Like, if a girl was raped or "taken advantage of" at a party, she should still feel like a virgin, IMHO.
If you have an active sex life - with or without penetration - you probably don't feel like a virgin.

I actually thought of that episode of South Park before I clicked on the question
I assume that if her hymen is broken, she is no longer a virgin (although, I will fully admit to having no idea how a woman's hymen would be broken in girl-girl intercourse).

Can't a tampon break your hymen?

i think that tinsley made some very good points. and although i don't like using myself as an example i will. my hymen is broken, but i'm a virgin. so the hymen doesn't really have anything to do with losing one's virginity. personally i don't think she would be a virgin anymore, because whether it's sex with a guy or girl it is still sex

It *can*, but it rarely happens. The hymen can also be broken during sports, but that's rare as well.
