I'd try it, and if it was good, I'd eat more of it. I don't care about the environment; I just like food.

Even if I ate meat I wouldn't eat a camel for the above stated reason.
I would if it were purely out of curiousity, though. (If I felt like it, anyway.)

Same. Meat is food which provides taste and energy. In my mind, that's all eating food is for. Screw the enviornment if I don't like eating the food.

I've tried it and was somewhat fatty, but tender and tasty. When an Arab invites you to his home and prepares Camel Hump it is usually reserved for a festive occasion in your honor. The equivalent of an Hawaiian Luau.

Your ancestors ate meat and if they hadn't you wouldn't exist today.
Just make sure when you travel to some countries you don't refuse the meat if the host offers. It can be a huge insult.

Camels may be ugly. But I'd eat one.
And who gives a sh*t if it helps the environment?
It's food. It helps my stomach. That is all that matters to me.

If people get into the habit of eating camel, they will start farming camel, and that won't help the environment.
They need to hunt the camel, feed them to the lions and other carnivours at the zoo, and not risk starting a nood meat craze.

^^That's actually a good idea, feeding it to zoo animals ... you're right, if it really catches on, farming will start. And at least then they'd be contained and not ruining the native ecosystem, but it would start a whole other environmental problem.

I agree with that.
However, I'd still like to try it once.

If it tasted good, I'd eat it even if it was the most harmful thing to the environment imaginable. Screw the environment.
