If your grandfather was a child molester would you still want to find him? My grandfather molested my aunt, but I still want to find him. My mom hasn't seen him since he divorced my grandmother when she was about two or three. I don't know what his life is now. He's 81. Is it horrible to want to have a relationship with him?

There's always possibility for a major character change there. You learn from your mistakes. Who knows? He may be waiting for that second chance from his family. Why not give him that second chance? He might have reformed over all those years, and since he is 81, he has had a lot of time to reflect on his past. The nice thing to do would be to talk to him. An old man should not die alone. That is too sad.
