why should theocracies be avoided and shunned and made a pariah by the world community? Theocracy does not necessarily mean tyranny and oppression.... unfortunately, that has often been the case, but the two (theocracy and tyranny) are not intrinsically linked.
if the people want a theocracy and that that theocratic government isn't tyrannical, oppressive, nor supports terrorism, then they should be welcome in the world community.
this question shows a certain Western dislike, dis-ease, and fear of religion.
