I think its a mixture of both. You have free will but your brain chemistry can definitely influence it.

As well as what Jagger_Boaz said, where/what is this "you" that is separate from your brain? Is there a difference between a thought from "you" and a influencing chemical brain process, and if so, what?
In regards to the question, I don't think its appropriate to really distinguish between an "I" and the process that occur in my brain, so saying whether one influences the other doesn't make too much sense.
Might be a bit picky, but I don't think the term "predestined" is appropriate either really, it somewhat implies a will for events to occur, which isn't really related.

A brain works through the soul. And my soul is what controls me. This has room for education, background, beliefs, bringing up. All these factors are what create what you finally do!

The saying "your brain controls you" is false. If your brain controled you you would not be on here, and your life would be horrible. Ex: you want fun, the brain wants to get what it need for you to live.

What do you mean by your brain works through the soul? What does your soul do that your brain doesn't, and vice versa, and how do they interact with each other?

Where did you get that from? Pleasure seeking pathways in the brain are reasonably well identified, reward is a key aspect in learning (why you give animals treats etc in training when they do something right), so it requires brain systems and chemicals (most notably dopamine) to do it. One of the reasons that people find certain substances pleasurable is because they stimulate these pathways.

It's a false distinction.
I am my brain.

Your brain controls you... your brain IS you, really. That's where all our thoughts are (assuming you are the type of person who has thoughts ), that's where our memories are... the brain is in control!

There's a part of my brain that tells me I'm still in control. And I can certainly use this reassurance. It's all that keeps me from tearing it out and tossing it out on the asphalt.
