What is more noble: living for a cause, or dying for it?

if you can live for a cause you'll probably serve it longer than dying for it! :) Unless your only way is dying to prove what you want!

Great question. Either way you're giving your life for something.

But on the other hand, if you don't live or die for a cause, you're still giving your life for something.

You're just giving your life for something lame, like drinking or attention from the opposite sex or something.

Dying. If you just kept living, you would obviously have other aspects of your life that you could enjoy, like raising your children, eating, having sex, etc. If you die, you give up everything for the cause. It's less selfish and, in my opinion, more noble.

Dying for a cause is easy. Living for one takes much more effort.
