If the business feels that they can't trust their employees they should. It wouldn't matter to me if they did or not.

No, not really.
Unless there is a great chance they'll end up harming me, but I don't see that.

Yes .. one day or another you have to test those medicines right? It's good to test it on mice but if it is an imoportant drug , you're gonna have to try it on a human . witch kinds of sucks.

It depends on the business. I don't care if cashiers are high, but I hope the mechanic working on my car's brakes was tested a couple of times.

different type of testing...
and it depends. some people should not be on crazy drugs (surgeons, bus drivers, pilots), other people should not be tested because they probably should do drugs. some jobs are boring.

i think its fascist and invasive. And stupid. Drug tests cost about $120, and they make you pee in a cup for your lousy, stupid $9 an hour job.

I think that every job should drug test its employees.

A little bit, yeah. Not enough for me to stop going to that business - because too many of them do it for that.
I don't see what business it is of a company what an employee does in their own free time. As long as they show up to work and perform well - in short, are a good employee - they should be retained. If they fail to perform their job well for any reason (drugs, depression, alcohol, laziness, incompetence, etc.) then they should obviously be fired.

That's definitely understandable. But what do you care what your mechanic did last Saturday? So long as he's on his game and performing well at the shop on Monday morning it really isn't any of your business.

I don't really take notice of what businesses do drug testing or not, so I guess it doesn't matter.

It really doesn't matter if they test. Most drug users I know will quit for a few weeks to pass the test and then resume their activities when they get hired.
