i may be a tomboy, but im also a neat person, not a neat freak, neat enough. i like contrast, but i hate mismatch. like i LOVE chocolate brown with strawberry pink, but i hate red and orange together unless there's a different color separating them

I don't get distracted but I'd have to wonder WHY that person chose to match those colors together..

Not colors so much as patterns. I hate when people wear two different patterns.

When I'm in Toronto, I can't stop watching the ugly turquoise/orange taxi.
But if that makes them being easily spotted, that's good marketing.

Mis-matching socks rock! mis-matching outfits...not so cool. like superkay said though, mis-matching patterns are worse.

not so much colors, but patterns: yes just the other day I saw this lady wearing a polka dot top with checkered pants.

It's not the art of matching that's hard,it's the art of MISmatching that;'s hard to pull off. I often mismatch,it doesn't really matter.

Haha the art of mismatching... since when was it difficult to decide to wear to almost-opposite colors?

It depends. If it's just a stranger at the grocery, I don't look much, but if it's someone who I'm having a conversation with, obviously, it's distracting if they're dressed like a goof.
