When you purchase something new and an extended warranty is offered, do you normally purchase it?

No, especially with a new car. Purchasing an extended warranty is said to be a *wise decision*, but generally they are just trying to get your money.

If a warranty comes with something, I leave it at that.

If it's only a few bucks, I'll go ahead and throw it in. If they're talking a hundred or more on top of the already expensive price...then no.

Most extended warranties are a waste of money. Stores love it when people buy them because they rarely have to make repairs- - it's like free money to them.

I always manage to void the warranty somehow anyway. I figure if something breaks, that's tough sh*t.
