Barbra Streisand has done this several times, as have many other entertainers. I went to Billy Joel's final Millenium tour in 1999 and now he's having a new tour. If it's the final tour, do you refuse to see them if they tour again? Question Who's Online | Find Members | Private Messages

Once a band has a `final tour`, do you refuse to go to any other tours they may have later?

A final millenium tour would logically be the last tour in the millenium. right? don't hate on Mr. Joel.

I would think if you liked the band enough to go to the "final tour," then you would like them enough to go to another tour of theirs. If you wouldn't go to another tour, why would you go to the "final tour"?

Well, it depends. I'd say more than two "final" tours makes you look like you're trying to mooch more money off of people.

Hmmm no, if i went to the "final tour" the first time it was because i like the band or the artist, nos just because it's the last one, in fact i think i'd really be pleased if my favorite bands hit the road after a "final tour". I would see the oportunity in it.

I guess it trully depends on how much I like their music and if I've been to a previous concert of theirs. If I had fun at the concert I'd go again and again.

If I really liked seeing them live, I'd go again if they performed *one last time*.

They probably just call it the 'Final Tour' so people think "Oh my God! The FINAL tour! I must go! No more tours after this!"

If I were the type to go to shows, I'm sure I wouldn't let a thing like that stop me. If I like them enough to see them once in concert, then I probably like them enough to see them again regardless of how many 'final' tours they have done.
