They should have liquid hand sanitizers rather than water because they're more efficient at sanitizing than water is, I'm thinking.

There are times when my kids get messy from eating things in stores/restaurants, and I need running water. Sanitizer is nice, but it wouldn't clean messy things very well.

Maybe the option to choose would be nice?

I've heard that hand sanitizer is less effective than water and soap. Even if it wasn't I'd rather have water.

The option would be nice. A better option would be to disable the urinals in the men's room from flushing. It would stink, but nothing a little clorox wouldn't fix.

Hand sanitizers tend to be drying on the skin if used to often. At least that's what I heard.

They do make flushless urinals, IRLTeach. I've heard the older ones aren't good, but the newer ones work as intended.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of those. There's a lot of cost up front, though.

They should have both.

Perhaps include liquid sanitisers, and keep running water, but you'd need to pay a small amount to use it (the water).

I think both would be a nice choice, it's like that in certain places here.

Try an analogy more like paying for a handicap parking space.

The price of water is just going to go up and up. It's free in public restrooms, but not because it's not worth anything.

I don't see a price for water happening. I don't think the restaurants or whatever would take the trouble to put in a system to collect the money. How would this system work? One of those coin slots? Or a place to swipe a credit card? B-)
