You really didn't specify what kind of power, so I'm going with what rules the world in the end and make a semi-educated guess by saying that the EU's economic power is increasing and the US's is decreasing.

It's decreasing, as the world sees that the West's greedy capitalistic economies and corrupt so-called democracies are a joke. The West has always had delusions of grandeur but other cultures are better.

Decreasing. China's power has been increasing over the past few decades. And globalisation seems to be making power more diffuse as countries become more and more intertwined with each other economically. The world order seems to be balancing out and becoming less lopsided. But the U.S is trying hard to stop it. |

The U.S. is definitely on the decline, but I think it's more of a case of the rest of the world having completely recovered from the great wars and having gained ground on the U.S.
