Yeah. Living in Montreal, it's bound to come up sometimes.
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Thursday 7/5/07 - 9:54:23 PM EST (GMT-5)
It's usually better quality. I eat it when I can.

And yes I have had it before.

No, I never have.
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Friday 7/6/07 - 11:36:13 AM EST (GMT-5)
Not specifically beacause it was kosher, but sure, of course.
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Friday 7/6/07 - 11:42:25 AM EST (GMT-5)
^^Yeah, same here. I know I must have at some point. It'd be kind of pointless to deliberately avoid foods solely because they're kosher.
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Saturday 7/7/07 - 9:33:30 PM EST (GMT-5)
Much of the food we eat day to day is kosher, so yes.
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Saturday 7/7/07 - 9:36:33 PM EST (GMT-5)
As a vegetarian, my diet is pretty well Kosher all the time, without any effort on my part.

(Except for the part about no leavened bread during Passover.)

Yes. I am a vegetarian as well, so I usually do end up eating kosher. I remember my mom bought kosher cream cheese once, and I was confused. I thought it was made with fish or something (I don't know how I equated that, but hey, I was only 9 or so and had never heard the word before). I asked her if it was made with fish and she laughed and explained the 'kosher' concept to me. XD
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Sunday 7/8/07 - 8:05:40 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yep. When I lived on campus sometimes the kosher line had better dining hall food.
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Sunday 7/8/07 - 10:42:31 PM EST (GMT-5)
Not normally. But I like kosher hot dogs.
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Monday 7/9/07 - 12:12:20 AM EST (GMT-5)
I don't think so.. I wouldn't know if I did probably.
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Monday 7/9/07 - 12:13:23 AM EST (GMT-5)
I like most Kosher food.
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Monday 7/9/07 - 12:30:04 AM EST (GMT-5)
Being Muslim, you have to go to a specific Arab store to find halal food, so I'm *always* looking for kosher. Its almost the same rules, although Jews are a bit stricter, but its nice to know that your food is made to a higher standard and pork free. Costco is amazing about kosher foods, completely awesome.

Are those the all-beef ones? Cause if so, I like those too.

And yes, I've had kosher pickles.

Alot of foods are kosher, such as Coca-Cola is kosher, and other brands.
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Wednesday 7/11/07 - 6:25:26 PM EST (GMT-5)
I'd be amazed if someone has *never* eaten kosher food.

My mother bought us a huge f*ckin' box of matzo for passover. And then we have a lot of matzo-ball soup. I also prefer kosher grape juice to regular, because it doesn't have that chalky aftertaste.
I had someone at school ask me if the reason I didn't eat meat on my pizza was because it wasn't Kosher. Then it kinda got out of hand, because people started asking if I was Jewish, and I couldn't stop laughing when people said "Of course she is!"
Honestly, though, I love crab too much to be kosher. Otherwise, I think I could do it, being a pesco-vegetarian.
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Saturday 7/21/07 - 4:01:09 PM EST (GMT-5)
Kosher hot dogs, that I know of, but there's probably more.
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Saturday 7/21/07 - 4:13:26 PM EST (GMT-5)
Not that I remember, no.
I've always thought it didn't sound too good to me.
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Sunday 7/22/07 - 4:08:24 PM EST (GMT-5)
I am unfamiliar with the term 'kosher'
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Sunday 7/22/07 - 5:43:01 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yes, I have had kosher hot dogs and pickles
14 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Thursday 8/2/07 - 6:56:18 PM EST (GMT-5)
I'm sure that most people have. I think you would have to be actively avoiding Kosher food in order to not eat it sometimes. Even then, it would probably be very difficult.
