Impeach Cheney. Get him out of the way so he can't run for President when Bush's term is up.

You'd be a fool if you thought that he would win the upcoming election, or that he would run at all.

Neither. Stupid question. You people just have to wait for one more damn year.
14 yrs ago, 8 mos ago - Wednesday 9/12/07 - 12:14:45 PM EST (GMT-5)
Neither. These men are doing the best job they can, and I think they're doing a good job. I support Bush, Cheney, and our troops.

I take it the majority of you in this thread are liberals? Figures.

i would impeach cheney, as bush has only a year, i mean how much damage could he do in one year? oh wait, he could f*ck up the world in one year. but seriously, impeach cheney, so he cant run for president

Impeachment doesn't prevent someone from running for president. Aside from that, Cheney isn't going to run for president--he's too old and has stated that he isn't running. You may also note that he isn't involved in any of the debates, campaigns and other activities that guys like Romney, McCain, Guiliani et al have been doing...
14 yrs ago, 6 mos ago - Wednesday 11/7/07 - 4:20:01 PM EST (GMT-5)
Neither, it doesn't really matter. Impeachment is a political move, not a legal one, so it doesn't really accomplish anything. If you were to ask which I'd rather see kicked out of office, however: Cheney. Bush probably couldn't do too much damage if he's missing his brain, and Nancy Pelosi would become VP, so she'd basically be running the country. And I'm not pleased with Republicans right now, so I would gladly move a democrat up.

Nice, and it's his own party turning on him! About time... GOP forces debate on Cheney impeachment

They aren't turning on them--they are forcing the Dems to explain their reasoning as to why Cheney should face impeachment. The idea is to make the Dems look foolish...

The Dems don't need any help looking foolish

hehe, on a related note, I just heard that a woman from texas who voted for Bush back in 2000 gave her reason as: "We had to get him out of state politics, he was messing everything up"
