Absolutely. This would be the right thing to do.
And charge him as a war criminal as well.

It would have been even more interesting if the Dems would actually have believed in it enough to vote for it...

No. He should be sent back to his private ranch and kept out the public eye. Historians should do a new vote and declare him the worst president of the 20-21st century

Aren't historians supposed to base those sorts of things on actual history?

Yes. And he is one of the worst. I would say at least in the top/bottom five.
Down with Johnson and maybe Harding.

It's not like you can really judge the quality of a presidency from an objective historical perspective before it's even over, but what exactly puts him in that "bottom five"- - The economy? The war? The fact that he's unpopular?

I would say the war. The economy is not really much under his control, but I don't think his tax cuts helped out, and his overpsending (caused by the war) is hurting the economy.

His tax cuts have increased federal tax revenues to record levels. Besides, the Carter economy was much worse than what we've been experiencing...
What about the war makes him the "worst" president? Lincoln got us into a bloody civil war. Kennedy got us into Vietnam, Truman got us into Korea. Unpopular wars aren't necessarily an indication of a bad presidency.

Come to think of it, the GWH Bush economy was probably a lot worse than what we've been experiencing...

I thought Eisenhower starting VIetnam technically and Johnson was the main culprit.

Vietnam was a long time in coming- - perhaps Ike isn't totally without blame. Johnson was the guy in office when the first military troops went in, but Kennedy was the one in office when they made the decision to force regime change in Vietnam. The CIA started working to make that happen under Kennedy. I think Johnson pretty much did what he had to do- - once Kennedy started the ball was rolling, he had to keep going.
Kennedy also had his meetings with Kruschev in Vienna and the Cuban missile crisis as black spots on his record- - and he's supposedly one of our better presidents.
My point still stands though.
