Are we actually going to get this 'Global Warming' thing off of the ground? Or is this just like Santa Claus. Last Winter was the worst one I've ever endured! Oh no, I hope it doesn't warm up! Horrors.

Yes. The human race is so ignorant, any issue, big or small, could start wars.

Very likely. Global warming causes a severe, several year long drought in a major global power country leading to massive starvation. Another part of the world has plenty of water and thus plenty of food. They're going to get invaded by the major global power country. Thus starts the war.

I can definately see conflict. When people are faced with survival or death, natural instinct is to survive, no matter the costs. With large numbers of people faced with that, which could happen in the future, civilization will be much less civil. Humanity will take a few big steps back if some global crisis like global warming started to turn ugly.

if everyone was that concerned about it, why start a war? you'd have to send your gas-guzzling non-eco-friendly tanks over there to blow the sh*t out of them.

Global warming is a nonissue. Liberal fanatics are the issue. And yes, they can certainly cause wars.

Its possible, but I doubt it ever will.
I'm just surprised that there are people who are STILL stupid enough to disbelieve global warming.

I don't know about the issue, but the consequences surely. Many are already blamed, in part, on the stresses that global warming causes.
"Military Panel: Climate Change Threatens U.S. National Security
WASHINGTON, DC, April 16, 2007 (ENS) - Global climate change presents a serious national security threat that could affect Americans at home, impact U.S. military operations, and heighten global tensions, finds a study released today by a blue-ribbon panel of 11 of the most senior retired U.S. admirals and generals.
