I wouldn't called it discrimination.

I'm sure it often happens amongst men, but I doubt that people are doing it consciously.

Being tall myself, I've never experienced it. I do however get tired of people asking "How tall are you?"

Yes. I know I practice height discrimination. I don't think I'd date a guy shorter than me.

Yeah, I work at a ride and we don't allow anybody under 44" to ride.
But for real, yes.

Taller males have more prestige than shorter males (up to a point - probably up to about 6'4"). Tall females are often denigrated as potential dates/mates. The height discrimination is uncounscious, but it's there.

My ex husband is over 6'5" and he gets a lot of attention, but no discrimination, that I know of...I think it may happen with shorter people.

i'm 4'11" and people give me sh*t about it all the time. "awwww, you're so cute and little!" or "how tall ARE you?" it's really annoying. people seem to underestimate me and come to the conclusion i'm sweet and cuddly or something...

I'm going to disagree with Clash rocker. I actually know a lot of tall girl lovers. I know men, who won't date a girl UNDER 5'5. Men and ladies both love taller from majority.

My husband is 6'7" and we have a horrible time finding pants long enough for him, and he can't fit on the best rides at amusement parks.... Total discrimination!

Yes, unfortunately. I don't feel right dating a man shorter than me. I just like tall men.
