I strongly believe that people should have the right to own guns. And I also believe women should have the right to chose abortion.

I'd MUCH rather see gun ownership made illegal though, if only to keep them out of the hands of quacks, rather than take away the right of abortion.

Yes, this is difficult.

Abortion would be an option if you knew the unborn child had major deformities, or if a girl was impregnated because of rape. Otherwise, they should have the child, and at least give it to someone who really wants a child, if you can not afford to support it yourself. I'm not for abortion, but at least keep guns legal.

I support the ownership of guns and abortion with certain restrictions for both, but I'd still go with guns.

Guns -> Protected by the Bill of Rights.
Abortion -> Not protected by the Bill of Rights.

Yes. Plus, banning guns would do far more harm, leaving innocent victims defenceless against criminals - banning abortions, just some more unwanted babies for adoption.

if we dont have guns, how are we going to abort the squealing bastards when they come out? cause choking babies is just inhumane.

but seriously, perhaps its because people are trying to support their impoverished families with too many babies that they resort to crime. being a victim of a crime is not the worst thing. a gun isnt the way to protect yourself. i hardly consider a victim that shoots their attacker innocent.

I would get rid of guns.

Ah, but you're forgetting the causation between abortion and crime rates, as demonstrated by Levitt that rose quite the controversy...

ABORTIONS. I don't really care if someone gets an abortion, but its better made illegal than guns. Even IF guns were illegal, it would hardly stop violence. People would just find another way to kill each other, because thats what we do. And people would still get ahold of guns, just like if abortions were illegal there would be some people having home abortions.

I think that each has their time and place which is why they were 'created'.
Banning guns wouldn't stop violence and banning abortions could cause problems...

Abortion is wrong, guns are fine, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the guns, it is the people with the guns

Abortion. Abortion to me is an anathema (except if the mother's life is endangered by the pregnancy or in the case of incest or rape). And I am an avid supporter of the Second Amendment (the right of every non-criminal citizen to bear arms).
