Should ABC run Mel Gibson`s mini-series about the Holocaust, even after his meltdown and anti-Semitic remarks recently? ABC might still go ahead with the planned Holocaust miniseries that it dumped earlier this month in light of actor Mel Gibson`s anti-Semitic remarks. The series, based on the memoir of Dutch Jew Flory Van Beek, was originally helmed by Gibson`s production company, Icon, but ABC abandoned the project amidst the media storm that surrounded Gibson`s controversial comments made during a July 6 arrest for drunk driving. First he makes a movie about being Jesus and now he wants to make a series about the Holocaust. I think he needs to get over himself, because number 1 hes not that great, and number 2 this new series could be offending just as much the Passion of the Christ was.
