No, the front page should just have a front page story.

I wish newspapers didn't have ads at all. They get in the way.

We are so bombarded by ads everywhere, everyday, that I honestly don't notice things like that anymore.

Ads are not for the front page. They should be located elsewhere.

They can put ads wherever the hell they want, it's their newspaper. If you don't like it, shut up and don't buy it.

It's not as if front pages aren't already one big advert. That's the whole point of the front page, to try and make people buy the newspaper.

It's quite stupid to have ads on the front. That should be reserved for telling us what kind of stories is in the newspaper. Who's going to buy a newspaper when they don't know what's in it? If anything, they'll be losing out on some cash. They better hope that they have a lot of dedicated readers.

Aaahhh.... Is this one of those "Even though we are discussing something we have no influence, rights, or potential to change--we are going to espouse an opinion about it" questions? Let's translate Should people not running a business be telling the owners of a business how to run it? Should people who consume think they have some right, other then their pocketbook's voice, to tell others how to do their business? IF a company has decided to put ads on the front page---you might wonder why---PERHAPS they need the money? PERHAPS they are not making enough without them? but, I don't really care, I don't read them anyway next please
