I do think LL has a gorgeous face. But its nothing like MM.

They have completely different body shapes, hair color/style, and skin tones.

Lindsay Lohan is very pretty, but she looks *nothing* like Marilyn Monroe.

The only celebrity I've seen who comes *somewhat* close to resembling Monroe in certain pictures is Anna Nicole Smith (when she looks thin, that is).

Now that I've read the article, I think this question is worded in a pretty misleading way.

When I read the article, it didn't say that *Lindsay* thought she resembled Monroe; it just stated that a friend of Monroe's thought that she did.

This is actually the Lindsay Lohan quote in that article.:

"Marilyn's best friend came over at the event and said she'd been taken aback because she thought I looked so much like Marilyn. It was incredible."

Eh, I've read on gossip sites that she thinks she looks like marilyn because of this, but its probably just the gossip sites twisting the situation.

I think most celebrity information that the media gives the public is unreliable nonsense that they churn out because they know it sells.

That's a big part of why I don't care for celebrity gossip sites and magazines.

I had to submit this like 10 times to get it approved, and the original article got lost along the way. Google Lindsay and Marilyn and you'll see tons of articles about how she's been going around bragging that she looks like Monroe. She's an ugly, pasty, skinny ginger and Marilyn Monroe was gorgeous. It's hilarious, she's becoming the laughingstock of Hollywood because of it.

The picture I posted of Lohan was so it would be less one-sided - when she was younger, she was much better looking. Thinking of how she looks now, I just couldn't believe she actually is going around saying she looks just like her.

Marilyn Monroe probably looks better than Lindsay does in the present, cold in her grave for years.

The only impression I have of Lindsay Lohan at all is from "Mean Girls," which I thought was a really, really smart, good flick (it would almost be insulting to add "...for its genre"). I guess it's ridiculous to judge an actress by a role she played. Judy Garland wasn't a Midwestern farm girl with pigtails, after all...
