It seems the obvious answer here is that we'd all want people to confront us. Generally I would agree. But, if the issue was some absurd pointless little thing, especially if the person wasn't a friend or I was already having a bad day and I had absolutely nothing to gain from the knowledge, well then they can keep their mouths shut and their gigles behind me.
