That very much depends on who is elected in 2008, and what he/she does.

It is possible to repair the damage, but it won't be easy, and it will take a long time.

Pretty sure neither will be the case.

As the reality of the success of Iraq becomes clear, and the truth about the economy and success of some effort of immigration control takes hold...

Crow will be served up to many who jumped on the bandwagon of naive ignorance of the realities...

but then, I have no strong opinions on the subject...

next please

Like wanderer said, it really depends on who's elected next.

Is this the most biased question ever?
15 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Thursday 6/15/06 - 7:36:47 PM EST (GMT-5)
USA will definitly look better without him. But i find he's funny for a president.
15 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Thursday 6/15/06 - 8:55:34 PM EST (GMT-5)
i think usa will get better without him, it may take a few years but eh.
15 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Saturday 7/29/06 - 12:27:31 AM EST (GMT-5)
I agree with Wanderer, it all depends on what the next president does.

Doesn't anyone else relize that Bush was not alone. He is mostly a figure head. He was elected twice (the second time legitimatly). That means that a majority of people agreed with his points of veiw. Also the US government uses a three branch system, equipped with checks and balances. Consider that most of the things that Bush, alone, is blamed for are actually on the heads of all the other elected officials as well.

Um, yeah, very. It presupposes that noone respects America, and that Prez makes all decisions with no input from anyone, and that damage has been done.

Maybe I'll try to get a question approved:

"If Kerry had been elected, would we have gone to war?" Answers to choose from will be "no, he's a pussy" and "yes". Of course, I'm sure mine will be rejected because it's intentionally biased.

Wow, that didn't take long.....

"I'm sorry, your question "Would the U.S. have gone to war if John Kerry would have been elected?" was not approved. As the questions on YouThink need to appeal to a wide audience, we thought this question was a little bit too narrowly focused..."

If the next president is able to patch up what Bush destroyed, and make peace with all of the countries Bush pissed off. Maybe.
15 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Tuesday 8/1/06 - 1:16:16 PM EST (GMT-5)
If a democrat was elected, the damage could maybe reversed, but the fact that over 50% of you idiots voted him in meens I'll never take any of you seriously!
15 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Tuesday 8/1/06 - 1:21:38 PM EST (GMT-5)
Well we were never very popular to begin with but old w didnt help thats for sure. The damage is irreprable especially for ALL THE DEAD PEOPLE. think about that

Some people happen to like Bush or else he wouldn't have gotten elected. This is possibly the stupidest question that I have gotten.
15 yrs ago, 6 mos ago - Sunday 10/29/06 - 12:38:55 AM EST (GMT-5)
Most people know that George Bush is a foolish man. America is not totally screwed.

I agree.

I think whoever is elected next will make a largley public effort to amend relations with anyone and everyone. Now, if the movement takes hold or rings true depends on WHO is making the effort.

It IS possible.

I don't know about politics or the Iraq war or anything, but I do know that Bush gets laughed at, and I've seen clips on the internet and heard Americans calling him, so Amercians kinda went down in my estimations when they voted him back into power, after they called him so much, and keep calling him now
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Friday 2/2/07 - 3:33:05 PM EST (GMT-5)
I think it depends on who is in office in 2008. Hopefully they can fix this major problem Bush has caused.
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Sunday 2/11/07 - 4:37:43 PM EST (GMT-5)
As a citizen of both the U.K and U.S I feel well placed to pass judgement. Americans, not just Bush, are seen as rude, arrogant, lazy and in some places/states backwards, in order for America's reputation to improve; the citizens also need to do some work.

Alright, dude... ANY man would have carried out the same methods that Bush has. You liberals watch too much biased news. Bush didn't ruin the country. High Democrats made you think he ruined the country. He's isn't a very good public speaker, and doesn't get his ideas out very well. But he is doing everything he can for the country, but you guys insist that everything could be done better by a Democrat (or other party) Get a grip. People don't make bad presidents; It's the events that happen while in the presidency that do. Bush has done fabulous things. You just don't see it! Your biased media shows you what they want you to see and what they want you to know. Watch a Conservative news program sometime. You can still watch your main program, but consider watching another also.

I don't think it's funny...
And snarenathan, no I don't think any man would have done what Bush did. I live in a conservative part of the country, I hear the conservative argument all the time...
And I don't necessarily think that just a Democrat could do a better job, I think that a lot of people could. He got us into a war we didn't need, he's put this country in more debt, he's bigoted towards other religions... I'm not saying that he's done nothing good, but I think the bad outweighs the good.
Although 9/11 coulda been prevented, I don't blame him. I don't completely blame him for the situation in New Orleans (That was the governer's fault, too), but he could have dealt with them better, not gotten us into a bullsh*t war.

Why do so many retards hate bush soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!?
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Tuesday 7/10/07 - 12:02:00 PM EST (GMT-5)
I don't think him leaving can undo the humiliation and shame that makes other countries say "American's are stupid." Not all of us are. But I'm a bit scared, what if the next president that gets voted is as bad as Bush?
