If you are or were in school, would you buy the `cheat pen` to use while taking tests?

If I need help that much I'll ask the teacher to allow an index card to help out with dates or equations. If they don't allow it, I'd either be sick or suck it up and do it anyways. With a night of study beforehand, of course.

No, it looks too dodgy
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Friday 4/14/06 - 10:55:54 AM EST (GMT-5)
I like it!

I'm totally getting it.

16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Friday 4/14/06 - 11:03:21 AM EST (GMT-5)
That could be noticeable if the teacher is watching closely enough.

That's awesome.
Where do I get one?

No. First of I, I don't cheat, and second of all, you'd get caught easily if you used one of those things.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Friday 4/14/06 - 12:40:17 PM EST (GMT-5)
I have no problem taking tests, and cheating is immoral, but I would still want that pen just because it's so neat and I could it in other situations.

1) It's the most obvious thing ever, if in an exam you unroll a sheet of paper from your pen.

2)How much can you actually fit on the sheet of paper? I cant imagine having 6 square inches of notes is that useful.

3)its just plain cr@p

16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Saturday 4/15/06 - 9:55:28 AM EST (GMT-5)
It might be fun if the pen was elastic enough to write on its own sheet; almost a writing utensil that can write on itself.

Anyway, no. I'm not stupid enough to need a pretty obvious cheating device.

16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Saturday 4/15/06 - 11:54:41 AM EST (GMT-5)
No, I think it's kind of obvious.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Saturday 4/15/06 - 10:49:49 PM EST (GMT-5)
No...despicable...
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Sunday 4/16/06 - 3:15:47 AM EST (GMT-5)
I wouldn't use it to cheat. Even if I was interested in cheating, none of the important points in my classes would fit on that little thing. It would be cool to have for keeping important notes with me though, like a shopping list or something.

^^^ I was thinking much along the same lines.

That is awesome, though.

We wrote stuff on tables and our hands in high school.
15 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Friday 5/26/06 - 5:20:18 PM EST (GMT-5)
It seems obvious, but it wouldn't be hard to just read it when the teacher isn't looking. I wouldn't use it to cheat, but it would be cool to have.
15 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Wednesday 6/21/06 - 7:02:24 AM EST (GMT-5)
fu_ck yes, i'd buy one.
15 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Wednesday 6/21/06 - 10:28:21 AM EST (GMT-5)
Ide buy one.
15 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Wednesday 6/21/06 - 10:31:05 AM EST (GMT-5)
Of course i would.

Sounds like another one of those impractical, purely fashionable fads. Like flagpole sitting, sure you had a great view of the city, but what kind of social life would you have?

Hey there, what have you got there!
"Oh, this? It's a CHEAT PEN!"
Oh yeah? What's it do?
"Oh ya know, looks cool, looks cool. Anyway, everybody's got 'em."

15 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Saturday 7/22/06 - 7:13:48 PM EST (GMT-5)
No, I'd just right on my hand or the table.

why try to use a cheat pen when my school system didn't even notice full-sized papers used to cheat??
15 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Sunday 7/30/06 - 9:28:42 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yeah, it would help me out a lot.
15 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Friday 8/11/06 - 8:15:46 PM EST (GMT-5)
