I sure wouldn't think so but there was something very odd about this last election and I don't think the liberals or Democrats could do much about it.

Whether or not there was a bias had nothing to do with his reelection.

If the media showed the truth during his first term, his re-election would have been much more scandalous.

No, fox news evens things out a little. Fox News was at the top of their game during the elections, overshadowing many of the liberal outlits.

I don't think so. Many Americans don't trust the media, opting to get information other ways. Many others don't bother to follow the news through the media very much at all, with late night talk shows and word of mouth being the main ways to get informed. We tend to overestimate the amount of power the media has nowadays, because for one reason or another, people just aren't paying attention to them in the numbers they once were.

A biased media can only do so much--if the Dems cannot nominate a clearly better alternative, they will still lose the election...

The media is only as liberal as their conservative corporate sponsers allow them to be - which is not very liberal at all.

Possibly, a lot of people don't watch the news or even give a sh*t about what they have to say.

So what if one news station that has intentionally marketed it self as conservative for the sole purpose of standing out from among the crowd if liberal outlets?

Oh, it does. But appearently some members of TY think a single right-leaning News Station makes up for that

I don't think the media, overall, is liberal or conservative leaning. I think it's "who ever has them most money to keep things out of the spotlight"-leaning..

media had less to do with the elections than the voting proceedures and those with control of them..

I'd like to think as bias as the media is, people still have the ability to think for themselves. I don't need the TV to tell me what to believe
