I still think the show should have had her actually be elected. I hate that they made it seem like no woman could be president by actually winning an election. She got it by default! What kind of message is that?

i don't know of many shows with a female president. actually, i don't know any apart from this one. so i think it's just telling a story with a different storyline.

I do agree that we not get a female president for a long time. Many Americans are sexist. We've also had two Quaker presidents. Richard Nixon and Herbert Hoover.
