Hold on, I'm confused. She lost because she fell. Ok got it. That's how the sport works. You fall. You lose. How could anyone think she deserved to win given the circumstances?

She fell and lost because she apparently tried to showboat. She got what she deserved, but I still sympathize with someone learning such a hard lesson on such a public stage.

Duh. How could she expect to win? You don't win by making an ass of yourself. You win by being perfect.

I feel she had an ego to showoff, but then again they are trained to show off

So, she was egotistical. Big deal. At her level in that sport, she can afford to be. And no, I don't think she "deserved" to have all her years of training end in a fall.

Yup. That's what you get for being an ungrateful American... Now if she were Mexican...

Nah. Bode Miller, on the other hand...

I was perfectly fine with it. It made the race as perfectly entertaining and shocking as possible. That whole race was amazing. I remember screaming and getting on my knees on the floor and going absolutely psychotic...

...I loved it.

It's only at HER LEVEL I believe you CANNOT afford to be a show off.

I think this argument was ended with that.

Look, what purpose does the Olympics serev than to show off?

Exactly.

Then in that case, everyone would have gotten what they deserved for fxcking up.

I guess when your ego gets too big the universe lets you know
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Friday 8/11/06 - 10:09:23 AM EST (GMT-5)
She did not "deserve" it; that's just fair. If you fall you lose. What a stupid question.
14 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Saturday 8/12/06 - 11:07:09 AM EST (GMT-5)
Yeah, she was showboating.
14 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Monday 2/5/07 - 10:07:57 AM EST (GMT-5)
who?
14 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Monday 2/5/07 - 10:13:29 AM EST (GMT-5)
I think so, you can never be too sure. She won't be doing that again.
14 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Monday 2/5/07 - 10:58:55 AM EST (GMT-5)
Accidents happen, and unfortunately for her it came at that time.
14 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 4/15/07 - 8:43:39 PM EST (GMT-5)
I've never heard of her but I don't think she got what she deserved. It was an accident.
14 yrs ago - Friday 6/22/07 - 6:21:22 PM EST (GMT-5)
So it goes
13 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Sunday 8/26/07 - 6:15:33 PM EST (GMT-5)
"she attempted a trip and fell."

Did you mean "Trick"?

If she tried to trip someone, I'd point and laugh at her for screwing that up and loosing when she could have won.

If she got roostery and tried showing off tricks then that was just stupid on her part...and yes, either way she got what she deserved.

13 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Sunday 8/26/07 - 6:17:06 PM EST (GMT-5)
Ugh, I meant "C*cky"

F*cking censor.

13 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Sunday 8/26/07 - 6:21:17 PM EST (GMT-5)
She attempted to trip? Yes, I'd say she got what she wanted/deserved.
