I don't really associate myself with either of the two parties, I just can't seem to agree with the major ideals of either. When I turn 18, I'll probably be part of that 2% Undecided 6 days from the election
16 yrs ago - Monday 11/7/05 - 2:32:09 AM EST (GMT-5)
No. The Democrats really need to be more outspoken and unafraid of highly controversial issues.
16 yrs ago - Monday 11/7/05 - 3:20:16 AM EST (GMT-5)
No, I don't think any political party can do that.
16 yrs ago - Monday 11/7/05 - 3:24:23 AM EST (GMT-5)
No. We have a political system that is supposed to be more representative of the peoples opinions, and I think it is better than one party governing a whole lot of different people, but I don't think any system can cater for everyone.
16 yrs ago - Monday 11/7/05 - 3:54:26 AM EST (GMT-5)
Not at the moment. The Labor Party is in turmoil and hardly addressing anything at all.
16 yrs ago - Monday 11/7/05 - 3:56:16 AM EST (GMT-5)
No. I think there'd be something wrong with you if you believed in everything one political party stood for.
16 yrs ago - Monday 11/7/05 - 2:02:37 PM EST (GMT-5)
no but does any political party?
16 yrs ago - Monday 11/7/05 - 2:04:22 PM EST (GMT-5)
Not really, but since when does one single party manage to do that? Elections would be so much easier if it were so.
16 yrs ago - Monday 11/7/05 - 4:42:12 PM EST (GMT-5)
ha, political party, nope, if i could vote, id listen to wat they say, even tho it doesnt make a difference, its worth a shot i guess...altho, id wanna be democrat, if they didnt believe in abortions!
16 yrs ago - Monday 11/7/05 - 7:41:21 PM EST (GMT-5)
Well basically I just favor whatever politician makes sense. Not gullible or anything, but there would be no way in hell, even if I found Bush that bad of president, that I'd vote for hypocrite John Kerry.
16 yrs ago - Monday 11/7/05 - 7:43:44 PM EST (GMT-5)
That's the reason why I don't associate with strictly one political party! I often go to one side or the other varying by issue, so in the end I look at the people I'm presented with and all that they stand for. I choose based on whoever I feel is better, which could be the Democratic or the Republican candidate.

The only way to have a party that agrees with you on every issue in the platform would be to make your own!!!
16 yrs ago - Tuesday 11/8/05 - 12:24:23 AM EST (GMT-5)
Not completely, but I have the most in common with the Republican party.
16 yrs ago - Tuesday 11/8/05 - 6:13:43 AM EST (GMT-5)
i don't associate with any party for precisely that reason.

the whole system's f*cked. needs to be gutted and reinvented.

16 yrs ago - Tuesday 11/8/05 - 7:53:02 AM EST (GMT-5)
Of course they don't, but then again I don't really support them all that ferociously.

I don't associate exclusively with any politcal party (though I have volunteered for both the Green and Democratic parties in the past) because none that I have found address all of my concerns. The only downside to not having a political party is that you can't participate in the primaries.
16 yrs ago - Tuesday 11/8/05 - 6:57:46 PM EST (GMT-5)
Of course not, but then not all political parties can. I mean, you could go into all the differences in culture between the 2 sides, such as "conservative" vs. "liberal" FOOD (meet and taters vs. tofu and salad), not to mention religion and other interests.
16 yrs ago - Wednesday 11/9/05 - 4:25:45 PM EST (GMT-5)
I do not associate with any political party. They are all crooks, only some actually get caught at what they are doing.

I suppose the one that comes the closest to my needs is the Green Party, and even then, their scope is too limited.

16 yrs ago - Wednesday 11/9/05 - 10:23:13 PM EST (GMT-5)
Lol, yeah, they DO have culture differences, don't they? Weird that we can associate potatoes with supporting a war. Equally strange that we can associate tofu with abortion rights, but it's TRUE, isn't it?

And no, it's impossible for any political party to do so, seeing as I don't have all of my beliefs set in stone yet. I'm young, I'm easily influenced.

Me too. Anyway, I don't expect a party to address everything I look for.

16 yrs ago - Thursday 11/10/05 - 6:53:26 PM EST (GMT-5)
Tch, I'm a communist, whaddya think?
16 yrs ago - Saturday 11/12/05 - 7:50:46 PM EST (GMT-5)
most of them
16 yrs ago - Saturday 11/12/05 - 7:59:28 PM EST (GMT-5)
Nope, that's why I'm more for anarchy.
16 yrs ago - Sunday 11/13/05 - 2:43:51 PM EST (GMT-5)
No.

There is no political party that comes to even close to what I think.
