no I do not think so why because of his support of the war in Iraq

He has betrayed his party. He is about as far left of centre as Maggie Thatcher.

No, even though I'm a conservative, I still agree with alot of his policies including Iraq, its a shame the rest of Labour weren't as enthusiastic. The only downfall in my eyes was the excessive ass kissing to Geoge Bush.

Yes, if I was British I might feel that Blair has Americans interests more in mind than Britons

i think so, something like 60% of Brits opposed invading Iraq, but he still did it. He is more interested in the Americans and their interests.

The mans a total c*nt - the one thing he has going for him is that he's a slippery as an eel which is why he's still the leader of the labour party.

True. But it's also true that being America's strongest ally, at this time in history, makes mosts other countries of the world hate you.

And about half as sincere... at least we knew what we were getting with her.

Funny how whether American or Brittish, we all seem to have the same opinion of him. He does appear to have america's interests at heart though.

By doing what?

I'm honestly not sure. I think as an American I have a problem a little closer to home.

Have you ever even been outside America, kiki?

16 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Tuesday 12/20/05 - 6:38:20 AM EST (GMT-5)
Without a f*cking doubt. His head is FAR too far up Bush's ass...
16 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Tuesday 12/20/05 - 6:50:11 AM EST (GMT-5)
He has certainly betrayed Labour voters who voted for him in 97 for Labour policies. He supports the on-going privatisation of the NHS, private funding of roads and railways, university top-up fees, and he is 100% behind George W. Bush, arguably the most rightwing president in American history.
16 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Tuesday 12/20/05 - 6:51:12 AM EST (GMT-5)
Top up fees can kiss my ass. I thankfully missed them, but my little sister won't. She's so talented yet I bet that she won't be able to study because of money.

I don't think Blair has betrayed anyone, but then I'm not a Brit either.
16 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Saturday 2/4/06 - 10:02:51 PM EST (GMT-5)
Would that be a no, Kiki?

No, where did you get that notion? He hasn't done anything he didn't think was in the best interest of the UK. I think he is a patriot.
