Yea, they're similar, but they are still both different. But people having compassion will do better for this world in the long run.

If you have compassion, the kindness will be there. Also, the reason you are doing the good work will be the right reason. Good deeds will come, along with kindness, if you have compassion.

I think kindness is the act of being compassionate...or least one of the results. So I think compassion is more important. You couldn't be kind unless were compassionate.

they are similar. but i think that if u have compassion for something then you're bound to do something kind for them.

I'd say kindness as compassion comes from suffering.

Definition Kindness: The quality of being warmhearted and considerate and humane and sympathetic Definition Compassion: The humane quality of understanding the suffering of others and wanting to do something about it. Compassion will actually move someone to do something about the suffering that they see. And its usually not confined to our friends and family.
