I agree with everyone who has posted so far: it has emotional, cognitive, and intuitive components, and it can be something you know. I'd call it a category unto itself, overall.

Faith is just a different type of belief, a mindset if you will. I think people go too far in romantacising what is simply belief in an idea you cannot prove.
