yes, sadly it does, but i dont like that. lets look at 2 cases, Bill Gates and Rupert Murdoch. Gates has one HELL of a lot of money, but gives large amounts to charities etc. this i like! Murdoch is a tw*t. hes a c*nt he can go f*ck himself. i hate him.

It depends on what you define as powerful. Powerful as in being able to get away with murder and every other scandalous thing, sure, you're powerful because you can BUY your way out of things. You can also be powerful in your mind and goals, but void of money.

No, but it often does. Presidents, while wealthy, aren't filthy rich. Neither is the Pope, and he has huge influence. But most of them are certainly well-off.
