I prefer it when they either sing it like the record or do it acoustic.

Change it a little I think sometimes it's loads better but sometimes you can be a little disappointed.

Just like the record. I hate it when they change it so much that no one can sing along.

^^^I agree. But if they draw out the bridge a little in order to talk to the audience or something, that's cool.

In concert I would expect some change whether it was on purpose or not, it's hard to do the EXACT thing multiple times. What I hate is when the radio version of a song is different from the album version (not live).

if it,s jazz, I like them to improvise around a song. But anything is good if they have chemistry.

It depends on the song, really.

Change it, if I wanted to hear it like the record, I'd buy the damn record.

I like it on record really, or at least if you are going to change it, just change the sound of the instruments and keep the beat as well as the vocals the same. When a band doesn't Preform the song like on a recording I feel less connected to what exactly the song meant to me and it takes the meaning of the song to a lower standard.

I'd like them to change it a little. Make it seem like they really want to perform the song instead of just singing it the way it is on the record

I don't like it when they change it too much, I like to sing along to what I know and that's the way I learned to love the band anyway.

I don't mind songs being changed a bit. Not too much though, or it's annoying.

I think the live version should be pretty close to the recorded version. But if the recorded version has loops and studio artists it never will be the same.

If they are truly talented they can change it and the live version will be amazing and new, but if they suck at it you just pray for the old sound.

It's cool if they change it to include the audience. Like I once went to a distillers show, the music was good, but it was just like, they came on, sang, and left. Brody barely even acknowledged the audience. There should be some interaction, even in the songs themselves.

I like when they change it just enough to get a slightly different sound, but not sounding like a TOTALLY new song all the way through. Changing a word or the intro to the song just makes it more interesting.

It depends on how much they change it... I love the original song 'Layla' by Eric Clapton (Derek and the Dominoes) but I absolutely hate the live acoustic version...
