One night, at about 2:00 AM (California time) I answered the phone, and it was some guy at a party where they were dialing random numbers to see who got the furthest away. We chatted a bit. He was in Leeds, UK, so he probably won.

I used to get calls from plumbers, contracters, electricians, and the sort asking for 'John'. After a while I got annoyed at those phonecalls so when the plumber called I asked if it was bad that I crapped in the sink. And he was all grossed out and asked if I wanted to order some new hardware. I, of course, agreed. Poor John probably had to pay for that. Oh, well.
