It's actually nice to be the guy if the girl is prepared to take the initiative sometimes. Takes some of the pressure off us!

1st to vote.
Yes it's ok, but I prefer for the man to.

It is ok for a woman to do whatever she wants, in or out of a relationship.

However, I find that the pursuer often ends up holding the short end of the stick when it comes to who has the power in the relationship.

So I prefer to let the guy pursue me; that way, I always have the upper hand.

Sure. I've done it on several occasions. Some guys like girls who go for what they want.

I HATE being pursued. I have made the first move with all my boyfriends. I dont know why, guys seem so skeezy when they're trying. If I get hit on, theres no chance at all I will ever take him seriously.

I can't take a hint very well so i like a little prompting.
16 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Friday 7/22/05 - 12:49:12 PM EST (GMT-5)
Why wouldn't it be?
16 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Sunday 8/7/05 - 7:30:34 PM EST (GMT-5)
It's OK. I can't think of why it isn't. This is a date, not a battle or a game of chess. If there's something you want to say, then say it. Don't wait until your date says it, because you could wait forever. Either you can choose to make things happen or have them happen to you, having no choice in the matter. If you ladies don't want a authoritative, controlling man, don't let him be authoritative and controlling on your dates.

It's perfectly all right, and in some cases necessary, if her boyfriend is the shy type.
It's not something I typically do, though. I'm more of a submissive type, and prefer being pursued to pursuing.

Actually, that is a prejudiced thing. I've noticed that if a girl tries to get physical, she's a "promiscuous trollop," yet if a guy tries to get physical, he's a "stud." I'm not sure whether we're talking just about physical, though.

Is it ok for a female to makes 'moves' first while dating a new person?

yeah, promiscuous trolloptiness is a turn on...

16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Friday 9/23/05 - 3:30:32 AM EST (GMT-5)
Yes its cool for a female to be first to make a move but I have to admit that the first thought that would come to mind would be that shes a promiscuous trollop and that for me is a turn off. So I prefer to do the pursuing to give me a chance to act a fool and do stupid sh*t in the hopes of winning her heart its actually quite fun.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 10/18/05 - 12:13:16 PM EST (GMT-5)
I've always loved it when the woman makes the first move. Shows me she's interested.
16 yrs ago - Thursday 11/3/05 - 1:19:15 AM EST (GMT-5)

16 yrs ago - Thursday 11/3/05 - 1:31:42 AM EST (GMT-5)
What's wrong with it?
