So long as rich suburban teenagers have their parents buy them mitsubishis so they can look cool, the company will pull along. but this car won't help.

Its a nice looking car, so maybe.

I feel it has a few too many design flaws, such as the placement of the side mirrors, to make it a big seller.

It won't kill the company, but Mitsu will become a dead company walking, with the new Evo IX being Mitsu's lifeline.

I don't think it's real nice looking.

Maybe the Mitsubishi car branch will go bankrupt. But Mitsubishi'other comanies will still be around.

Hideous car. With the bad looks and the near-certain problems, it won't sell enough to save the company.

Discerning car buyers have never given Mitsubishi too much credit, they tend to perform poorly in the car awards departments, so no.

First of all, You're a f*cking worthless piece of sh*t.
Secondly, anybody who knows ANYTHING about the auto industry knows that Mitsu has been losing money for a long time now, one of the only things keeping the company from going under is the Evo, and even that is too low on volume to be the big breakthrough the company needs.
Third, learn to spell you worthless piece of sh*t.

Jeez, slappy. Go ahead and correct the guy, but don't be a jerk about it.

I think they'll pull through, even though that car is hideous.

Mitsu has had a lot of quality issues, mainly stemming from Mercedes' influence. The company's stocks have been falling faster than a deck of cards in a breeze. By the end of the decade, the company will cut all but their core products in order to try to break even.

Mitsu has not been a Japanese owned company since DaimlerChrysler bought a controlling stake back in the late ninties. A lot of Japanese consumers do not like that at all, so the company has lost a LOT of it's domestic following. In the states, all of Mercedes' quality problems are shared by Mitsubishi.

He works for a dealership, right? Dealerships are privately owned businesses, meaning that the company's troubles are not always shared by the dealership. A prime example is GM. They're cutting so many jobs and can barely pay the remaining employees' helath care costs, but GM backed dealerships are among the most upmarket in the nation.

Mitsubishi is a Chrysler company. Mitsubishi will still make engines though, I would assume. Like, the Stratus R/T that dodge makes has the mitsubishi engine in it. I think if Mitsubishi can keep this alive, they might be able to revitalize. It's a nice car, kinda cheap, good power. It has potential. I guess we'll see how good it can do.
