Of course I would try it. How rude not to. If you've been invited to a dinner party, then show your manners. I had friends over for dinner not long ago and I'd made the most simple potato dish. It was basically potatoes cooked in a cheese and onion sauce. My neighbour poked it with her fork and pushed it around saying 'What did you say was in it?" I tell ya...she almost wore it! |

Possibly... I tried escargot 2 years ago at a French restaurant despite my fear, and I tried duck foie de gras last year. Neither one of them is something I'd plan to eat again (I have issues with certain textures, especially anything as chewy as a snail), but I'm proud to be able to say I tried.

I would try anything unless it had meat in it because I'm a vegetarian. I'm sure they would understand about that though. Otherwise, I'm up for trying whatever, seems a bit rude not to unless you have a good reason.
