No, trust is part of love.

Love without trust is not love. It's obsession.

Yes. You can love someone and not trust that they won't change and leave you. Trust can't be genuine, because you'd have to be stupid or desperate.

Yes you can genuinely trust someone with out being stupid or desprate.

Why is that, do you think?
I disagree. I think that you can totally trust someone - and some of those that you trust will eventually screw you over, OR they'll stay true.

that is what I was trying to get out in my previous post.

"Trust is to love as breath is to life, and just as elusive."

Does this counts to mother-son love too?
A mother can love the son to the bone and not trusting him, i think.

Trust is earned. U never trust in a great way, freely. U can love someone, yet never trust them. A parent can love their 2 year old, yet not trust them to cross the street, or love your 16 year old, yet not trust them with the keys to your corvette.

OzArcher said it best. The saying "I love everyone" is a stupid saying that holds no validity.

i agree. The whole point of loving someone is to trust them.

I believe you can love and not trust someone at the same time. I think they are two different subjects all together. If someone had a spouse who cheated on them, Im sure they would stop trusting them, but i doubt they would stop loving them. Its a form of unconditional love.

No you could not love someone if you do nopt trust them it just dosn't work without love
17 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Sunday 6/19/05 - 2:14:42 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yes, you can love someone without trusting them, but it's not a healthy or productive love.
17 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Sunday 6/19/05 - 3:00:10 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yes, but it is not a stable love
17 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Sunday 6/19/05 - 4:07:28 PM EST (GMT-5)
I said no, but I wish i could take it back. Unconditional love is unconditional-trust or none. But if you fall in love, you fall in trust, too. If the trust is breached, then it isn't the same. This thing needs 3 answers- yes, no, and yes and no.
17 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Sunday 6/19/05 - 4:07:43 PM EST (GMT-5)
Not to me.
17 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Thursday 8/18/05 - 7:29:51 AM EST (GMT-5)
It's love, just an unproductive love.
17 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Thursday 8/18/05 - 7:40:27 AM EST (GMT-5)
No, some thing are hard to talk about but the bring the two of you closer.
17 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Friday 8/19/05 - 8:17:11 AM EST (GMT-5)
Yes. Love is love and trust is trust. These feelings are exclusive of each other. You can trust people you don't love and love people you can't trust. A lack of trust may not make a good relationship, but it has no factor on how much you love someone.

I'm not really sure.
