Yes, if they're going to take over, they should be concerned about the citizens they take over.

66,650? What, did he make her a new leg out of gold or something? "Five operations and weeks of physiotherapy" doesn't cost that much, unless someone is trying to make a buck of the deal... Yes, they should be responceble, but no one should be getting profit off of it! They should send militray medical personel (normally better trained then cilivians, anyways) to help the people, on the Governments dime.

International law does dictate that they must, but the entire situation in Iraq was/is a violation of international war, I'm just waiting for the day when Bush, Blair and Howard are actually charged with crimes against peace....

There has been plenty of time to bring charges against Bush and Blair if there were any factual basis to the claim...

Sorry that should of been international law, typo there. ;) The invasion of iraq constitutes a crime against peace; A crime against peace, in international law, refers to the act of military invasion as a war crime, specifically referring to starting or waging war against the integrity, independence, or sovereignty of a territory or state, or else a military violation of relevant international treaties, agreements or legally binding assurances. c - The "sovereignty" rule means that it is a crime of aggression to use armed force with intent to overthrow the government of a state or to impede its freedom to act unhindered, as it sees fit, throughout its jurisdiction. I'm still wondering why they haven't been charged yet, but very few leaders have been charged while still in power and the UN seems to be a bit week when it comes to charging major players with war crimes.....

The current action is just a continuation of the war that drove Saddam out of Kuwait...

Normally, yes, but this is war. Do we usually allow victims of wars we start to come to our country to save themselves? I'm not asking that sarcastically, I'm seriously asking that!
