I wouldn't know. I live in the middle of nowhere, so I can just open my door and the dog will walk himself and poo in the woods.

Walking the dog can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but cleaning up the poop is far worse.

I do neither with mine. We have a big enough back yard for her to run around and she poops in the fence and it goes into the neighbours yard.  |

No drawbacks with my dog because he has his own poop spot where you don't have to clean it up. Walking the dog is awesome.

I like to go on walks. It's a good excuse to get some fresh air and some exercise as well. I just don't like poop.
