No...they get their 4 years whether people like it or not. People will never be fully satisified with their president, so that would be a stupid thing to do.

Just beause someone's approval ratings are down for a while does not mean that they won't come back up. If we did that, then presidents would always be removed or up for election and that would not be good for our country. Lincoln, whom many consider to be one of the best presidents, was not a popular person while in office yet united the nation and kept America strong.

No. You voted him/her in, you should be stuck with him/her until the time is up. Next time, vote correctly and it won't happen.

Damn this question is stupid. Approval ratings are based on opinion polls, nitwits.

It all depends on how low it goes--GWB's 48% approval ratings are still quite a bit higher than what other presidents have had...

No, and for the same reason that Supreme Court Justices are guarenteed a lifelong term... the President should worry about doing what he thinks is best, not pleasing the population.

In a parliament system there would be a vote of "no confidence".

What's the problem with the economy under GWB?

16 yrs ago, 8 mos ago - Saturday 9/10/05 - 12:02:18 PM EST (GMT-5)
nope...the publics opinion should be expressed during the next election. Besides, doing what is right and correct isn't all the time popular.

Basically it shows that people are too stupid to differentiate between a good economy and their feelings concerning the war...
