Raelian-ism.

I'd say all of them were wrong, but the worst has to be Eminemism

Right wing Christian. They go against the teaching of Jesus. How can they possibly be right when they don't follow Christ.

^ Are your standards for what is possible based on anything other than your own distorted view?
17 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Monday 4/25/05 - 4:11:43 AM EST (GMT-5)
I would be most likely to say Scientology.
17 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Monday 4/25/05 - 8:38:42 AM EST (GMT-5)
Yes Scientology...

Or Mormonism

17 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Monday 4/25/05 - 8:45:42 AM EST (GMT-5)
I wouldn't say anything. It's not my place to say that a religion couldn't be right just because I don't believe in it.
17 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Monday 4/25/05 - 9:20:32 AM EST (GMT-5)
Any religion that encourages it's followers to
'save' unbelievers.
Those are the only religions that annoy me.
17 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Monday 4/25/05 - 9:32:30 AM EST (GMT-5)
Logically, they cant all be correct. They can all be wrong.
17 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Monday 4/25/05 - 9:39:04 AM EST (GMT-5)
I think that I would have to answer that not one religion is wrong. I think that if you could combine some points of every religion you would have the perfect religion.

Every religion teaches you that there is something more to life than what we are used to.

I do not believe in satanism though. I guess that would be wrong.

The irony of many organized religions is the common ground that many of them share, i.e. their stories of creation, promises of an afterlife, and guidelines for daily living. Yet, despite all the similarities, most believers vehemently oppose the teachings of other religions. I am a Christian, and I think that acceptance is the key. However, I do have some issues with a religion that believes that there are a finite number of seats in heaven (144,000) and that all sinners are to be excommunicated and not forgiven. They also think that holidays are purely paganistic, and while they may be derived from the calendar that way, its the focus of celebration that gives holidays their true meaning. Good old Jehovah's witnesses seem truly misguided to me.

Tinsley and valgal, do you know anything about Islam or only what you have heard in the American media? My suggestion is before you reject Islam (or any other religion) as false you might want to educate yourself about it first. Try reading the Qur'an. You'd be surprised how close it is to Judaism and Christianity, since it is an Abrahamic tradition. Why I am even trying to enlighten a jackass with a Confederate flag as an avatar, I do not know. Tinsley, the South lost the way, get over it!

sorry, the war
17 yrs ago - Monday 5/2/05 - 8:13:17 PM EST (GMT-5)
Nope.. no idea what I'd say, I think they're all wrong.
17 yrs ago - Monday 5/2/05 - 8:18:28 PM EST (GMT-5)
It's not a religion.

And I can't say that it is either wrong or right.
I do believe it could be a possibility.
But I certainly hope that isn't "right".

Atheism itself bothers me.

I don't dislike anyone who is an atheist at all.
Honestly, I don't entirely understand them or how they have come to their firm conclusion that there is nothing. That's all.

I really hope that no one will attack me for this post. I'm just giving as close of an answer as I can give for this. (I'm agnostic).

i respect anyone who has found something to invest their life into... like arjawani... i dont exactly agree with the muslum/islam life... but i really respect you for your faith towards what you believe. something that really spoke to me was Cassie Bernall, the girl who was shot in the head for saying she was a christian... to have faith like that would be really hard, but it gave her the ultimate reward. So i dont agree with anyones religion except for my own... but i respect the people who commit teir lives to them.
17 yrs ago - Monday 5/2/05 - 8:20:49 PM EST (GMT-5)
oh yeah... also, there was this dude that said somethin in a book i read that i thought was really cool "Until a man has something he is willing to die for, he has no reason to live" i thought that was cool
17 yrs ago - Monday 5/2/05 - 8:22:23 PM EST (GMT-5)
What is it about the way muslims lead their lives that you don't agree with?

I'm just curious.

17 yrs ago - Monday 5/2/05 - 8:27:03 PM EST (GMT-5)
well, (PLEASE nobody take this offensive) from what i have read/heard, muslims believe Jesus was a teacher but not God's son, and His image.. right? well, i am a Christian, and I believe with all my heart that Jesus Christ is God...again... Please dont be offended
17 yrs ago - Monday 5/2/05 - 8:34:18 PM EST (GMT-5)
Obviously you don't agree with the theological elements, thats why they are different religions.

Jewish people believe the same thing.

17 yrs ago - Monday 5/2/05 - 8:45:33 PM EST (GMT-5)
Well, Islam teaches that al-Masih 'Isa (Jesus Christ) was a Prophet and Messenger of God and the Messiah/Christ, that he was born to the Virgin Mary, that God revealed to him the Injil (the Gospel), and that he performed miracles (giving sight to the blind, raising the dead, etc.) But you are right, Islam rejects the divinity of 'Isa and the Trinity.
17 yrs ago - Monday 5/2/05 - 8:47:02 PM EST (GMT-5)
yeah, other than that it seems similar to Christianity
