No, I don't think so because some of the activities might REQUIRE you be in peak condition or you can't do it. And if you can't there's no point in being on the show. Not being mean or anything...

It's not just about physical health. Heck, I probably don't qualify according to some of their rules. Show business is inherently discriminatory--that's the point--it's all about show. I'm definitely not saying that this is right, but it's how it works.

True, it is a television show. However, the purpose of the show is to compete for employment. In the reality outside of reality TV, it's not ok to discriminate against the disabled when considering potential employees. You must consider everyone who is qualified for the position. If Trump had chosen to discriminate based on gender, race, or sexual orientation rather than physical abilty, it would have been stopped long ago. As a society, we need to start addressing such instances of Ableism.

Sure. Its not like Trump has no money, he should just donate some to a handicapped people fund of some kind in exchange for the guy dropping the case. The man sueing shouldnt recieve any money directly though, because he suffered no harm from any of this.

It's unfair that The Apprentice isn't open to ALL people, but life is unfair. The man does not meet the criteria to make him eligible as a contestant. He needs to accept that and move on with his life.

Jesus Christ, enough with the frivilous lawsuits. Trump just ought to let this bloodsucker try out, then fire his crippled ass on the first show. Then maybe he would shut the hell up. Should this guy sue the St. Louis Cardinals if they don't let him try out for the baseball team? If the job requires physical ability, then a quadriplegic probably ain't the guy you want to hire.

no, of course not. while i am all for giving rights to disabled people, it has to be something that they are physically able to do. no one would think it was discrimination if a taxi company refused to hire a blind taxi driver becuase he couldnt see.

Ridiculous. The show is Donald's and the producers. If someone doesn't like the way they run THEIR show, let them start up their own. It is unreasonable to try and impose equality like this in everything.... too many lawyers, Falstaff was right.

It isn't illegal discrimination if the person is physically unable to do the work...

Push the crippled guy down the stairs of a half completed project, whereas they havent completed ramps because they need STAIRS for the uncrippled workers... Lets see if he can do the job.

I hate it when people try to abuse their disabilities it makes me sick. They deserve to be crippled if they are going to act in such a wretched way.

No, Trump needs to hire people who can physically do whatever the task at hand is.
