I think they're ugly cars, to be honest.

We created the vehicle, we showed the world what automotive luxury was all about. Of course the Caddy will prevail and bring America home another Golden Ticket.

I don't know.
I really haven't studied Europen and Asian markets.

They are off to a good start, but it will take a long time to change GM's image of being a cheap alternative with a bunch of unnecessary gizmos.

Not Mercedes Benz. Maybe the rest, though.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Sunday 2/13/05 - 1:06:46 AM EST (GMT-5)
No. It's too big and American.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Sunday 2/13/05 - 3:53:21 AM EST (GMT-5)
No. Cadillac=crap. And they even rhyme, too! Would you look at that!
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Sunday 2/13/05 - 4:01:42 AM EST (GMT-5)
Most so-called luxury cars are crap, except for a red convertable BMW! (sigh)

I guess if the Cadillac was in the competitive price range vs competitive extras, I don't see why it wouldn't keep pace with the others. How is it mechanically?

17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Sunday 2/13/05 - 5:51:08 AM EST (GMT-5)
There's something vaguely vulgar about the Cadillac that won't appeal to an international market.

How many times must I answer this question? It the most frequently asked question for some reason.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Monday 2/14/05 - 12:36:51 AM EST (GMT-5)
I think enough people will like them.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Monday 2/14/05 - 1:26:39 AM EST (GMT-5)
I agree with Elbereth, ugly cars. But when a car expensive peopel will buy it just to say "look at me, i have money."
17 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Monday 3/14/05 - 9:14:20 AM EST (GMT-5)
I don't think other countries realy realy want our cars. How many Americans want 2nd class forgin cars? (other than me?)
17 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Monday 3/14/05 - 9:17:52 AM EST (GMT-5)
I wouldn't buy one personally. Elby is right in that they are ugly. Plus the European car market is already packed and highly competitive.
17 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Monday 3/14/05 - 4:01:14 PM EST (GMT-5)
Ain't nothing better then a '88 Broham!
17 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Tuesday 3/15/05 - 6:18:55 AM EST (GMT-5)
No, your cars suck. Their fuel economy is a joke (even on small cars) and they can't corner worth sh*t. Add to that the fact that the average American car is a good deal larger than the average European car (hence the crappy mpg) and you're onto a loser.

Oh yeah, they're slow as well. 55mph speed limit? Bunch o' pussies.

Are you mad? Of course not.
17 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Wednesday 4/27/05 - 11:09:38 PM EST (GMT-5)
No. They re too big for europe and asia. And in canada, they can't compete against Volvo or BMW.
17 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Friday 4/29/05 - 2:29:18 PM EST (GMT-5)
I would say not. There's much better to choose from.
17 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Monday 5/9/05 - 12:49:31 AM EST (GMT-5)
The car itself is plenty strong enough, the image of Cadillac isn't. I doubt that any American car can compete outside the states... we import theirs, to my knoledge, we don't export many of ours. (Feel free to correct me if you are from outside the states and KNOW for a FACT I'm wrong, die-hard "buy American" rednecks that just want to tell me how stupid I am, nlmmln shut up.)
17 yrs ago - Friday 6/3/05 - 8:23:47 AM EST (GMT-5)
No, American luxury cars are an oxymoron.
17 yrs ago - Friday 6/3/05 - 10:30:20 AM EST (GMT-5)
That is one bush-pig ugly car.
16 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Wednesday 7/6/05 - 11:33:09 PM EST (GMT-5)
I have no idea.
16 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Wednesday 7/6/05 - 11:47:20 PM EST (GMT-5)
From where I came from, US car are considered second-rate...sorry
