I think I'd go insane if I couldn't go outside at night (well, that's not entirely true, but it's pretty close). I think stars in the night sky are about as beautiful a thing as life has ever come up with.

Yes, I love doing that. The stars are so pretty and it's so peaceful and quiet outside.

When I'm walking home at night, I'll stop and look.

This is so odd that I came upon this question, because I just did that about an hour ago with my brother. We were standing on the deck looking up at the stars in the crisp air.

Yeah. I'll stay out there for hours when taking the trash out. My mom just about goes cuckoo wondering where the hell I am every Thursday night.

Yes, it's absolutely beautiful. So beautiful that it is hard to discribe. But you rarely get to see it because of all the lights from the city. That's why I enjoy camping so much!

In December, my husband and I went to a cabin on a lake, and they had a hot tub on the deck. We went out there are about midnight and just soaked and looked at the stars. It was amazing. They hung in the sky like glittering jewels, so close you could almost touch them. It was amazing. You could even see more stars farther away, behind the closest ones. Then, there was a shooting star, which I hadn't seen in years. I could have stayed out all night, just looking.

Unfortunately, all my neighbors think they have to have a yard light that stays on all night. 15 years ago there were lots of stars, now it's hard to see the big dipper.

*points at screenname* I love stars. I used to sing Twinkle twinkle when I was little, on my porch on my daddy's shoulders.
