This prom dress is so skimpy, even the designer's CEO wouldn't let his teenage daughter wear it. But the dangerously revealing gown, prominently advertised in Seventeen Prom, YM Prom and Teen Prom, and on sale in a Midtown shop, is a top seller for the company this season.

Damn you kiki! I just got my question disapproved!
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 11:19:59 AM EST (GMT-5)
No way! That is totally inappropriate for a Prom. Proms are supposed to be pretty formal, not totally revealing.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 11:20:02 AM EST (GMT-5)
Not in this lifetime.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 11:20:42 AM EST (GMT-5)
Considering the first thought that came to my mind when I saw the photo - Hell No!
I'd then remind her date that they sell shotguns at K-Mart here in PA...
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 11:21:02 AM EST (GMT-5)
It is hot though...

But a 17 year old wearing it? No chance.

17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 11:25:35 AM EST (GMT-5)
No. The dress is way to revealing. I would think that you wouldn not be ablt to wear that to a school function. Also I am imagining that the dress is pretty expensive esspecially considering the lack of fabric used to make it.

Aww sorry Morguebabe ... I had to make a question on this one when I saw it yesterday, craziness!
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 3:22:00 PM EST (GMT-5)
I've seen 17 year olds wear worse stuff than this. 17 isn't all that young.

I'll agree that I wouldn't want my daughter wearing it, but if she really wanted to, I probably wouldn't actually force her not to.

17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 3:37:02 PM EST (GMT-5)
It might be okay on a 25 yr old, but not a 17 year old for a school function.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 3:51:43 PM EST (GMT-5)
I don't think that dress would work on anyone.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 3:54:48 PM EST (GMT-5)
Not only is that dress totally inappropriate for a prom (or almost any other function...), it's also very ugly. Who would want to wear it anyway?
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 3:58:40 PM EST (GMT-5)
I think that's the thing mostly, a dress like this doesn't really offend my sense of morality, I mean I don't even think total nudity is that bad. I just think this dress is very tasteless.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 4:17:20 PM EST (GMT-5)
Are you kidding?? I don't think I'd let my daughter wear those low cut pants and short top things that teenage girls wear these days, let along something that skanky. What girl would want to wear that? She'd be known as the class promiscuous trollop after that. promiscuous trollopty does not equal sexy, and I don't think enough girls realize that.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 4:18:26 PM EST (GMT-5)
And I'm not a prude...I just think that kids need to be kids. I don't want my daughter having to be an adult before she really is one.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 4:20:19 PM EST (GMT-5)
I agree, but where I come from, a 17 year old is hardly a "kid" as such anymore.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 4:20:45 PM EST (GMT-5)
The sick F^@K who designed the dress should be shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 4:20:58 PM EST (GMT-5)
^i agree with both of purslanes posts. well said.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 4:23:36 PM EST (GMT-5)
that is appauling... why would you design something like that for the sole purose of a teenager wearing it? I am disgusted?
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 4:27:36 PM EST (GMT-5)
hey, akmazac, you never replied to my post on the atheism question.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 4:28:20 PM EST (GMT-5)
"I am disgusted?"

I don't know, are you?

17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 4:31:37 PM EST (GMT-5)
I'd never let a child of mine wear something that ugly. It looks like they just took a regular prom dress and put it on the model backwards.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 4:34:07 PM EST (GMT-5)
It's very sexy but I doubt if I would let my daughter wear that.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 4:48:42 PM EST (GMT-5)
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 4:48:45 PM EST (GMT-5)
Apparently they specialize in very ugly dresses.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/26/05 - 4:52:00 PM EST (GMT-5)
Oh come on, this one is HOT!
