if america is going to insult other countries and fingerprint them like criminals then yeah they should do it to their own citizens. This isn't going to help, people are always going to slip through the net. It's like sercurity cards on Britain, stupid

I think it's a good idea. "Critics fear that fingerprinting could violate personal privacy rights." wtf...you don't *have* to get a passport...and your photo is already on it...along with your full name, birth date, etc. how is it violating your privacy to add your fingerprints?

I think that fingerprinting people when they first arrive in your country is insulting them. Insult your own citizens!! Does anyone here think America is getting a little over-the-top with all this paranoia??

America? Over the top? Naaaawww. But I don't think we should require any fingerprints, from our citzens or other country's citizens.

you do have to get a passport unless you want to be enslaved by borders that don't really exist and be restricted to the piece of dirt your mother spat you out on

It's a good idea. Might help from people stealing/forging passports. And with terrorism that's just what we need eh

I don't know, but I had to be fingerprinted and photographed upon entering the US. A bunch of children going to film is a HUGE terrorist threat, right?
