Like the warning labels on cigarettes? I don't think it's necessary--you'd have to be pretty stupid NOT to know beforehand that too much sugar is unhealthy.

Yes, but it won't ever stop people from buying them. It could be for people with high blood pressure, and the like, but they'd be pretty stupid to not know what they should or shouldn't be consuming.

Yes but I doubt it would be helpful.

no, cause every item out there is harmful if taken in large doses. its a shame that people are stupid enough to complian, like those people who sue fast food joints for making them fat.

No. People still smoke cigarettes and they have warning labels.

I don't think it would deter anyone from purchasing the product. Sounds like a waste of time and effort to me.

Would those ever be useless. Who above the age of ten honestly DOESN'T know that excess sugar is bad for them? And it wouldn't really deter anyone from buying soda.

As long as they used phrases such as "There's a lot of sugar in this drink. Over consumption of sugar can lead to weight gain, fool." or "Hey fool dis beverage great But it can make you overweight!" or "Da T pity da fool who drinks themselves to obesity."

Some people need warning labels for everything.... What they actually need is a device that would give them an electric shock everytime they did ar say something extremely stupid. Like drinking sugar loaded stuff when on diet, like giving their kids cola and then punish them for being restless, like saying that all herb tea is healthy...

It wouldnt do any good. Do you think the warning labels on cigarettes and alcohol really make people not do them?

People need to take responsibility for their actions and stop blaming others. No, there shouldn't be labels - the only reason they'd be there is to cover the soda company's ass when somebody decides to sue them because they turned diabetic after drinking five vats of the soda a day.

most reminders are unecessary and stupid! Most people who smoke know the consequences, most people who drink coffee should know that the drink is hot, and most people on a diet should know that junk food is bad for you!

I would like to see something, anything, that DOESNT have a warning lable on it. Something that has no side affects, or addiction problems. That'll be the day.

Should there be a warning label on bags of sugar?

No neccessary, most people can work that out for themselves. Thinking about it it's not a bad idea though, might make the odd person think about it more...just like the warnings on cigerette packets might put off the odd person.

Of course they shouldn't. It's stupid. If you can't figure out soda is unhealthy, I'm not sure how you survived past the age of 12.

People already know. And it's not like it's going to make them not drink it anyway. No, there shouldn't be labels.
