I wouldn't shop at GAP for the sole reason that they use child labor.

What major corporation *doesn't* use child labor, or sweat shops of some kind? That's inevitable. Even at Wal-mart half the crap is made by kids in China.

I used to shop at Limited Too. I hated their clothes. Oh well, that was like, 5th grade. I don't think it's a waste of money, though. I just quit shopping there because I was sick of hearing Hilary Dudd every time I went in there, plus their clothes were waaaaaaaaaaaay too short.

I think their clothes are adorable! But if I had kids, I don't know if I'd spend money on something they wouldn't be able to wear in a couple months. I can see buying quality clothes as an adult, because it's an investment. Not so with kids...

No child should have expensive clothes, even if they never grow. Kids like to roll around in the mud and spill stuff on themselves.

Babies and toddlers grow out of clothes fast, but once your kid hits 4 or 5, it's not like they'll grow out of Gap clothes in a few months. I'd buy my kids sh*t from there regardless. It's not like I can't donate it to Goodwill or give it to a friend

I thought you hated children anyway CRYN OUT.... I wouldn't buy anything from Gap kids as I don't think little kids should look like minature adults, they look cute and more normal with clothes with cartoon characters on them etc.

I've never shopped at Gap, and probably never will(I never had the money)...so yes I think its a waste of money, I buy my clothes at thrift shops and WalMart and occasionally Sears and JCPenny when I have extra cash, and i look just as good as everyone else.

Kids grow out of there clothes way too quick or in my kids case she stains her stuff 1st or 2nd wear so noooo way, I'd rather spend the money on other things.

ummmmmmmmm not realy worth it,gives kids expensive taste, and they r likely to get messed up anyway!u can get clothes that r just as nice for cheaper.too much emphasis is put on fashion and beuty for kids, making them overly conscious of it

I'd shop at American Apparel, it's sweatshop free and damn comfortable. Not cheap, though.

the point is not how fast we grow...it's how we look. as long as we like the clothes, and wear them as much as possible before we grow out of them, it's fine. well, i prefer shopping at other stores like the Rave, and American Eagle Outfiters.

I was watching 'The Fabulous Life Of...' today and it was about celebrity kids - the stuff they buy their kids makes Baby Gap look like Wal-Mart!

Yea b/c they'll eventually turn into stuck up snobs thinking they're better than everyone else b/c they have name brand clothes. I for one when I have kids will refuse to buy them name brand clothes.

I think it depends on how much money you have and how you manage it. But I really wouldn't want my kids being brats.

Nah, it's a waste of money to buy clothes at stores like that when they'll grow out of them anyways. One of my mom's friends bought $53 baby shoes for her friends baby. It was crazy.

^^nice avy!! You can keep the kids in gap clothes longer by making them sleep in a box that fits their body precisely. cruel, but fashionable, and that's the important thing. Has anyone seen my crack pipe?
